This is my effort to help others learn some tips on Linux operating system and Linux software by documenting and posting my experiences as they happen.
I consider myself a novice when it comes to Linux. I was a Windows user for years, but finally got tired of paying for every piece of software needed, including operating system upgrades and anti virus / spyware software. I stumbled acrossed a web site talking about Linux live CD's and decided to give it a try. I started with PC LinuxOS then moved to Ubuntu and now I am currently using Linux Mint 9. I was quite surprised with the functionality. I had always invisioned a "DOS" looking software.
Please at no time consider me an expert on these issues and while I found that the information contained in this site to work for me, it may not for you.
